Large capacity multi
vessel vortex mixer designed to hold a wide variety of
vessels from micro-centrifuge tubes to large vessels such
as Erlenmeyer flasks. No additional holders or accessories
necessary. Racks are included. The new mixer provides
the same true vortexing as with the original Vortex-Genie®
2. It can be used for gentle, orbital-type shaking or
more vigorous vortexing. The gentle ramping up to speed
prevents containers from spilling. Unit also features
digital control and display of speed and time, and is
housed in a durable and heavy zinc die casting with specially
designed feet to prevent the mixer from walking. Can be
used in both cold rooms and incubators.

magnetic force capable of stirring up to 38L. The analog
version offers an analog speed control knob with dial
markings. Digital version offers micro processing speed
control that precisely regulates speed through the entire
range of the unit. Ramping feature slowly increases speed
to avoid splashing and improve spin bar control. The digital
version also features an LED display for digital speed
control, adjustable in 10 RPM increments. Spill-resistant
housing channels fluids away from the internal components.

The Digital Vortex-Genie
2 is a programmable vortex mixer based on the popular
Vortex-Genie 2, providing digital control and display
of both speed and time. The Digital Vortex-Genie 2 mixer
is especially useful for mixing applications with strict
or specific speed and time requirements, where reproducibility
is important. Using the "UP" and "DOWN"
arrow keys, speed can be programmed between 500-3,000rpm
(2,850 for 50Hz models), and time can be programmed between
1 - 99 seconds for Touch mode and 1 - 99 minutes for Hands-Free
mode.
